"The wooden dress" is a solo for a dancer dressed in a dress whose bodice is made of 270 small pieces of wood and whose skirt is made of hoops, also in wood. The dancer walks around and interacts with the audience. Occasionally she offers a twig, a pebble, or piece of wood. Sometimes she whispers a little haïku in the ear of a spectator. The choreographic score adapts to the audience and releases a bit of mystery, made of small gestures where the imagination is free.
